INTRODUCTORY ARTEXING
This course is suitable for the complete novice and for those with limited knowledge of Artexing. Artexing is an inexpensive method of transforming an old tired ceiling into a creative and decorative art form. Artexing as a decorating medium is less prone to cracking and is more flexible than plastered ceilings there for resulting in less stress fractures. The aim for this course is to show you the correct method of applying plasterboard to ceilings. We will cover background preparations and treatments showing you how to tape and caulk the ceilings, to prime or seal different surfaces on ceilings and walls ready for the artexing patterns to be applied.
You will be taught various patterns including stipple, swirl, broken leather, scroll, broken swirl and many more.
To produce a rewarding finish you will be taught to create individual masterpiece every time. |
